Native New Orleanian Miles G. Trapolin began practicing law with his father, the late Ivor A. Trapolin, as part of the family’s general practice in 1987. Miles is widely respected in the New Orleans legal community for his work in the areas of medical malpractice, zoning law, and estates and successions.

As he began his career, Miles Trapolin defended Charity Hospital of New Orleans (Big Charity) against medical malpractice claims. Because of that experience, he deeply understands the other side when he argues a medical malpractice claim on behalf of a plaintiff. Miles also represented the Louisiana Department of Transportation for years as a defense attorney. Now, when he fights a traffic accident case, he brings the extensive understanding of traffic litigation he gained defending the state on traffic matters. He knows how defense attorneys think because he has been one.

Miles has been successfully representing plaintiffs since 1992. He has represented persons injured by medical errors and in automobile accidents. He has litigated cases concerning wills and contested estates across the region. He loves a complicated succession or a challenging medical malpractice case, but he also loves solving fairly straightforward problems for people.
